Congregational Care

We care for our church family and the communities of Rockport and Gloucester in many ways.

Here are a few of them:

  • Pastoral calls
  • Grief counseling
  • Hospital visits
  • Nursing home visits
  • Funerals/Memorial services
  • Weddings and premarital counseling
  • Baptisms and pre-baptism counseling
  • Prayer Chain
  • Fellowship hour after Sunday worship

The Old Sloop Fleet is a group of volunteers who provide members of our church family with meals for those in need, transportation as needed, flowers for a range of life experiences, cards of encouragement, sympathy, and congratulations.

The Pastor’s Fund is an account managed jointly by the pastor and the Outreach Committee to assist members of the greater community in financial distress.

The Old Sloop Landing was created to help reduce the stress of grocery shopping during the pandemic and beyond. Through the Old Sloop Landing, you can order groceries and prepared foods from Henry’s Market of Beverly. Orders placed by 2 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month are delivered to the church on the following Wednesday. You will be contacted when your order is ready for pickup in a safe socially distancing manner at the “Old Sloop Landing” located at 12 School Street.

For further information on any of these services, please call the church office at 978-546-6638.
